The people at The Campaign for Safe Cosmetics just released a new video called The Story of Cosmetics 2010. It shows how companies get to put all those nasties in conventional baby care products (and other cosmetics). By choosing certified organic products you are creating a greener safer enviroment and economy. Not to mention keeping the nasties out of our little ones.

A very supportive and loyal fan of Buds was keen to share these world-class products with others and so exhibited and sold the products at Motherhood Fair in Singapore.  Held from 4 – 7 June 2009 in Singapore Expo Hall, the response to Buds was incredible!  Many thanks to Louise for this initiative!

Bemused by the invite, our guests brought along the Buds’ empty gift box to Marmalade, Mont Kiara, to check out the fuss.  They were not disappointed.

The launch was emceed by Low Ngai Yuen, a TV programme host and director, former radio show producer and DJ, actress and most significantly, a mother.  We were treated to a story following the day of a Buds baby, after which the story of the Buds range began – how it started as a pure and natural product and continuously pushed the boundaries to see what it could achieve.  The result?  Our newest baby – Buds Cherished Organics, the world’s first and largest preservative-free and certified organic range of baby and mom care products!

Being the launch of a baby care range, kids were very much included in this event and at times, cheekily stole the show from the adults!  Fun was definitely the order of the day – with magic tricks, making balloon shapes, colouring….  Some adults were seen reliving their childhood days and joined in with the children in making animals and shapes out of balloons!

Stay tuned for official photos from the show.  In the meantime, enjoy some of the snaps below!

As some of you may have noticed our blog has a different colour scheme and logo to our current range of products. This is in conjunction with the launch of our new range Buds Cherished Organics which will be hitting the stores this September. Buds Cherished Organics is our first range of products to be certified as organic by EcoCert France. This is a fantastic step forward in our commitment to keeping your baby as pure as the day she was born and keeping the world beautiful for her future. This is the first full line of luxurious certified organic, preservative free products to be introduced and we are looking forward to see our baby take the world by storm.

The line will be sold through selected baby stores, department stores and organic shops and we will put a list on www.budsbaby.com and updates of new retailers here.
